While changes of old works of art are overwhelming the Bollywood business, the interpretation of Chalte by Atif Aslam for Mitron was an articulate frustration. Lata Mangeshkar – the artist of the first form – hasn't heard Atif's version yet rushed to share her discontent on the remix, detailed The Indian Express.

Atif Aslam's revamp of 'Chalte' neglects to give goosebumps

At first highlighted in the 1972 Bollywood great Pakeezah, Chalte was picturised on the disaster ruler Meena Kumari. It is a tune that individuals still murmur right up 'til the present time. Despite what might be expected, the new form of Chalte strips the melody of its actual embodiment and neglects to leave goosebumps.

Discussing the remix, Lata stated, "I would prefer not to hear it. This pattern of remixing old tunes disheartens me. Where is the innovativeness in just lifting recognized, darling works of art and rearranging the notes around? I've even heard that the verses are changed in the remixes. By whose assent? The first writers and arrangers composed what they needed to. No one has the privilege to mess with the imagination of these incredible arrangers and lyricists."

Indian artist and lawmaker Babul Supriyo is no enthusiast of Atif's singing either. He expressed, "Today, even the beautiful term 'masterful freedom' is at the skirt of elimination. With due regard to Atif Aslam, as a vocalist myself, I will watch a two-minute quietness to grieve instead of offer a remark."

Another craftsman Alka Yagnik whose tune Dilbar was remixed for Satyameva Jayate didn't timid far from giving her feeling. She stated, "For what reason don't they make another tune into a hit, rather than grabbing an effectively super hit melody, contorting it, and discharging it once more. And afterward they say that it's turned out to be so prevalent."

The 52-year-old vocalist included that while it is "alright" this is going on with her tunes, she couldn't trust the more youthful yield of performers "have the boldness" to remix Lata's melodies.
